Overview Are you currently employed as an unarmed private security provider in Oregon and need to maintain your certification so you can keep working? The DPSST Unarmed Security Renewal course is required every two years for anyone certified as an unarmed security provider in Oregon. Certification lapsed but still want to renew it? Even if you aren't currently certified, but were within the last four years, you can take this course and you will be able to renew your private security unarmed certification. The ranges we use are approximately a 30 minute drive from our site in Junction City. Directions available upon request. The class begins at our site in Junction City. The Oregon DPSST Additional Firearm Qualification course allows someone that currently holds an Armed Professional certification to add additional firearm models for use or carry on duty; and is not due for an annual refresher or two-year renewal.​ We use different ranges depending on the time of year and class size (see location information when signing up for the class).
