Overview Are you wanting to learn new skills or increase your survival knowledge but don't know where to start? Then Practical Survival is the course for you! This course was designed with both beginner and intermediate knowledge levels in mind, and covers key techniques for ensuring successful outcomes in a variety of survival situations. Taught by instructors with years of experience in survival and search and rescue, this course is perfect for anyone wanting to increase their understanding and become more prepared.​
Overview Are you a DPSST certified Armed Security Professional and need to qualify with additional firearms so that you can carry them on duty? The Oregon DPSST Additional Firearm Qualification course allows someone that currently holds an Armed Professional certification to add additional firearm models for use or carry on duty; and is not due for an annual refresher or two-year renewal.​ We use different ranges depending on the time of year and class size (see location information when signing up for the class). The ranges we use are approximately a 30 minute drive from our site in Junction City. Directions available upon request. The class begins at the range (See below for more information). Required Equipment:​ Valid form of government issued photo ID Signed Liability Waiver (see below) Duty Handgun(s) Quality Duty-Type Holster(s) At Least Three Magazines (More if they hold less than 11 rounds) Belt or Vest-Mounted Magazine Pouches for
Overview Basic Defensive Tactics is an essential overview class for anyone that carries defensive tools and is authorized to use force in the course of their duties. This comprehensive no-frills course covers a variety of skills necessary to safely and effectively use force and defensive tools; including: use of force, use of force decision making, defensive stance, unarmed defensive techniques, basic weapon disarming, movement, using a baton, using handcuffs, and using OC/ASR Pepper Spray. Required Equipment: Valid form of Identification / Reason for taking class Handcuffs Handcuff Pouch Handcuff Key Expandable Baton Baton Holder Pouch Recommended Equipment: OC Holder Pouch Duty Uniform / Athletic clothes Standard duty gear (Belt / Vest) PLEASE NOTE: This course requires a signed Liability Waiver
