Description
The Health and Safety Institute (HSI) Basic First Aid course helps students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. This first aid training program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the the most recent American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross guidelines update for First Aid. Intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire, or are required, to be certified in basic emergency medical care.
Do you need Adult First Aid training, but don’t have time to sit through a class? Then Blended Training is the solution for you! Blended training uses the same core curriculum as the classroom Adult First Aid course, but allows you to do the bulk of the course online at your own pace. Once you complete the online training, you schedule a short in-person skill session with us (at no additional cost) to demonstrate the hands-on skills. Once completed you get the same certification card as students that attended an in-person class. This format is perfect for anyone with a tight schedule or that just want the flexibility of learning at their own pace, but still wants quality training
Blended Learning combines online Adult First Aid training through the HSI Training Center online portal with classroom skills demonstration and is great for students or employers who cannot devote the time to a regular in-person class. Students first complete the online portion of the Blended Learning course at their own pace, then attend an in-person skills session with one of our certified instructors. Students are emailed a course completion card upon successfully finishing both segments of the course.
Please Note: This course includes a digital course completion card and has been updated to the most recent HSI guidelines.
