Description
This expert-level American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) program combines BLS CPR and Basic First Aid and helps keep healthcare professionals prepared and ready to respond as they encounter life-threatening emergencies, provide basic life support and first aid, and respond to choking incidents; for Adults, Children, and Infants. ASHI’s Basic Life Support, BLS for Healthcare Providers and Professional Rescuers conforms to the most recent AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. It has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). The program is also CAPCE approved and widely accepted in more than 150 healthcare-related occupations. This course features a written test element that students must pass with a score of 70% or greater.
Do you need BLS + Adult First Aid training, but don’t have time to sit through a class? Then Blended training is the solution for you! Blended training uses the same core curriculum as the classroom BLS + Adult First Aid course, but allows you to do the bulk of the course online at your own pace. Once you complete the online training, you schedule an in-person skill session with us (at no additional cost) to demonstrate the hands-on skills. Once completed you get the same certification card as students that attended an in-person class. This format is perfect for anyone with a tight schedule or that just want the flexibility of learning at their own pace, but still wants quality training.
Blended Learning combines online BLS + First Aid training through the HSI Training Center online portal with classroom skills demonstration and is great for students or employers who cannot devote the time to a regular in-person class. Students first complete the online portion of the Blended Learning course at their own pace, then attend an in-person skills session with one of our certified instructors. Students are emailed a course completion card upon successfully finishing both segments of the course.
Please Note: This course includes a digital course completion card and has been updated to the most recent HSI guidelines.
