Overview
If you want to legally carry a concealed firearm in Oregon, you have to understand the applicable laws and regulations, and complete the mandatory training requirement. This class is built to help you do just that! Not only does this course meet the minimum state requirements to apply for a Concealed Handgun License, we have expanded it to include additional detailed information such as carry considerations and basic tactical first aid concepts.
This course is classroom only, please do not bring any firearms or ammunition to the class.
Online Instructor-Led: The class is held online via Zoom, but is taught by a live instructor. Students attend the class virtually using the Zoom platform.
Description The Oregon Concealed Handgun course is a detailed concealed handgun class that consists entirely of classroom training. The class focuses on many topics related to concealed carry, including laws and legal aspects, gun safety, a section on basic tactical first aid and much more. We wanted to cover every aspect of carrying concealed so that students are properly informed and prepared, not only to get their license, but also to be responsible gun owners. After completing this course the student can apply at their local Sheriff’s Office for an Oregon CHL which is valid in Oregon, states that recognize an Oregon CHL, and states that do not require a license to carry concealed. This course is lecture only, please do not bring any firearms or ammunition to the class.
