Overview Are your kids ready to talk about guns and gun safety, but don't know where to start? Then this class is for you! Designed for youth ages 7-12+ this informative class discusses issues around firearms and firearm safety in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. The class is intended as an introductory safety course and is perfect for youth interested in firearms, or as a precursor to being taught how to shoot by their parents. This course is a self-study online course that is done at a student's own pace. You will need to select the date of "9/9/9999" when checking out. Overview Are you a retired law enforcement officer in Oregon and need to maintain your annual qualification so you can keep carrying your firearm under LEOSA? The Oregon LEOSA Annual Qualification course is required every year for anyone certified as a retired law enforcement officer in Oregon (the certification itself must be issued by the agency the officer retired from).​  We use different ranges depending on the time of year and class size (see location information when signing up for the class). The ranges we use are approximately a 30 minute drive from our site in Junction City. Directions available upon request. The class begins at the range (See below for more information). Required Equipment:​ Valid form of government issued photo ID Signed Liability Waiver (see below) Duty Handgun(s) Quality Duty-Type Holster(s) At Least Three Magazines (More if they hold less than 11 rounds) Belt or Vest-Mounted Magazine Pouches for at least two

The DPSST Armed Security Upgrade Certification course is the essential course for anyone wanting to carry a firearm while performing security services. Taught by instructors with real world experience, this course will give you all the essential tools and foundational skills you will need to work as an armed security professional in Oregon. PLEASE NOTE: This is a handgun certification course only. Rifle and shotgun certifications are separate courses. Please do not bring any firearms or ammunition to the class or classroom until the range day. The Instructor will give you detailed instructions about this. Overview Are you currently certified as an armed private security provider in Oregon and need to maintain your certification so you can keep working? The DPSST Armed Security Refresher course is required every year for anyone certified as an armed security provider in Oregon (Certifications themselves must be renewed every 2 years). Certification lapsed but still want to renew it? Even if you aren't currently certified, but were within the last 90 days, you can take this course and you will be able to renew your private security armed certification. ​Classroom and Range portions of this class are typically done at separate locations (see location information when signing up for the class). Overview If you want a comprehensive Oregon Concealed Handgun License training course, then this is the class for you! This course covers the same important topics as our CHL lecture course, including laws and regulations, carry considerations, basic tactical first aid concepts, and more; but combines them with practical live-fire range exercises to help improve your accuracy and shooting skills. Classroom and Range portions of this class are typically done at separate locations (see location information when signing up for the class). The ranges we use are within a 30 minute drive from our site in Junction City. Overview If you want to legally carry a concealed firearm in Oregon, you have to understand the applicable laws and regulations, and complete the mandatory training requirement. This class is built to help you do just that! Not only does this course meet the minimum state requirements to apply for a Concealed Handgun License, we have expanded it to include additional detailed information such as carry considerations and basic tactical first aid concepts.
